What non-toxic mattress is best? was created by Sarah Pope
Hi Andrea,

I need to purchase a new mattress soon but have limited funds. What is best to buy which is also not so expensive?

I would like to use a platform bed frame if possible.

Thanks.

Prescriptions for a Healthy Home recommends cotton futon. We saved up for several years and bought organic latex. This is the one we bought.

You're smart to choose carefully. It's not easy!

Andrea,

Thanks for the info and link. You are so right, it is difficult to choose. The healthy home economist lady recommends intellibed.

Do you know anything about it. It is not organic.

Thanks again.
