For Some, It's Just the Beginning

While Hurricane Sandy has come and gone, the aftermath is just beginning for many who experienced flooding and water damage. Flood victims have 48 hours to dry out their environments before harmful microbes start to proliferate. Since this has been extremely difficult to accomplish in the wake of this storm, many will experience serious adverse health effects in the weeks ahead.

momsAWARE has established a Hurricane Hotline to provide information and direction to these impacted individuals. Many times environmental testing is needed to assess the situation. It is our hope to provide ERMI mold testing as a way to support and encourage flood victims.

Toward this end, momsAWARE has also begun accepting donations. We invite you to Help Us Help Others as we reach out to the victims of Hurricane Sandy and countless others who suffer the adverse health effects of water intrusion.

You can visit our website to find out more, and be sure to follow us on Facebook for the latest updates. And feel free to share our vision with others, as together we strive to help those around us live healthy in a toxic world.
