Thank you for the radio broadcast a couple weeks ago. I love Chris Fabry's program. Anyway, I love the natural shampoo. My husband can't stand vinegar so I'm using the lemon juice rinse. Do you know, could I delute that lemon juice with water or keep using it straight? Also, my husband misses my scented hair. What essential oils could I add to the shampoo that would smell strongest? I have added only tea tree oil, and that smell washes away. (Which is good because he doesn't like that smell either.) Let me know if you have any ideas.
Thank you!

Here is what I would try for a rinse:
5 oz herbal water ( I might make lavender for scent or buy rose water at the health food store)
2 oz glycerin
1 oz lemon juice
Place is glass jar...shake to blend. Use 1/4 c. as a rinse after rinsing out your shampoo. Rinse with warm water. Keeps about a week at room temperature.
For scent...I would buy lavender essential oil and sprinkle 5 drops in your hair before styling or drying. Rub in with fingertips...should leave a nice scent.
Just some thoughts...

Oh and you certainly can dilute the lemon juice!

Hi LeeAnn,
I'm searching for those great scents too. You might look into essential oil blends already mixed to get a scent you like. A web search will provide a few sites and some will send a sample to you.
I've found that I like spicy scents for personal fragrances so I tend to go for sandalwood, cinnamon and bergamot. I may try my own mixing to get a pleasing blend but I'm still new at it.
Hope this helps. Good luck and let us know if you find anything wonderful!
