Hi Andrea and thanks for your Tuesday talks! I have 2 questions and a comment: 1) What did you put into your kitchen/bathroom soaps to make them more sudsy? (DH isn't too impressed with the suds of the Castille Soap) , 2) Do you know any essential oil blends that smell like Gain or other familiar "clean" fragrances and 3) I have made Vinegar of 4 Thieves (recipe from another herb store) for a mosquito repellant. It really works, but they advise a dilution of the concoction with water in a spray bottle. And, contrary to what one might think, you will not smell like a salad all day long. The vinegar dissipates! No DEET!! I've even read articles of the use of Vof 4T for pest repellant for animals (horses and dogs). Avoid the eyes.

Laura,
Good point on the Vinegar. There were conflicting recipes about diluting...I don't dilute it and I love it...but I will add it to the post that dilution may be a good idea. Thanks!
Hmmmm...GREAT question about the Gain! Anyone else have any ideas? I'm wondering about lemon, orange, and vanilla...but I've not researched this.
I bought foaming handsoap bottles...and can't BELIEVE how sudsy it is! It must be how specific the bottle is for this purpose. I only use a couple of tablespoons of the castile soap.
Without a foaming bottle it is definitely less sudsy unless you rub your hands together HARD.
