VP Sales & Marketing /
Kristina suffered an acute exposure to toxic mold in 2007 while working on location for a major U.S. retailer in the Virgin Islands. She experienced her first mini-stroke three weeks after moving into a condominium that had been condemned two years prior to her stay. Kristina suffered brain damage and numerous physical complications, as did her young daughter due to subsequent cross-contamination. In a landmark case in 2009, Kristina was granted Social Security Disability for her mold-related injuries. After undergoing an intense treatment regimen including brain rehabilitation, OT, PT, and speech therapy, she now advocates for those injured by indoor air contaminates, fulfilling her passion to help raise awareness and educate others on the subject of environmental health.
With decades of experience in software development, network management, hardware integration, and more recently, video production and web design, Dan brings a wealth of technological expertise to the online operations of momsAWARE. He and his wife, Sherry, have recently relocated from the Chicago area to the beautiful mid-coast region of Maine, where they continue to manage their website development business, Parmelee WebWorks.
